As with most Dwayne Johnson films, Rampage underwhelms as a piece of coherent cinema, but kinda sucks you in with his charisma and watchability. Rampage's finale (which is really what you're all waiting for from the moment it starts) could have easily devolved into a Bayformers pile of poopy madness, but actually manages to keep a semblance of coherence and staging. Enough, in fact, that when it's all done, your brain isn't off and out the door ahead of you. Watch it on Netflix when it hits and you'll probably enjoy it.

This movie is garbage. There is absolutely nothing redeeming about it. The action is boring, humour doesn't work, and the Rock tries too hard. Gee whiz. Just watch anything else. Anything at all.
