WHAT'S IT ABOUT
Woody (Tom Hanks) has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. So when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky (Tony Hale), declares himself “trash” rather than a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace toylife. But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep (Annie Potts).
Toy Story 4 is pixel perfect! Full of heart and humour, TS4 further explores not only what it means to be a toy but the importance of inter-relationships in our lives. Obvious metaphors abound but the only important thing is how wonderful (and yes tear-inducing) this story is. It was easy to question why a fourth instalment was required considering Toy Story 3 ended so well, but this epilogue was the perfect ending we didn't even know we needed.
