Tree Gelbman discovers that dying over and over was surprisingly easier than the dangers that lie ahead.

What did we think

Initially I thought a sequel to one of my favorite sleeper films of 2017 was not only unnecessary but would detract from what was a truly entertaining time-travel romp. I’m happy to report I was wrong. Not only do they add new aspects of the phenomenon, but the writers have managed to build upon the story of the original in a way that partially explains the first. Yes it’s still kind of a B Grade movie, but it’s a good quality one where you will laugh, and constantly try to predict who’s behind the mask. Fans of the first will most certainly not be disappointed. 3.7/5
