Mig Macario

Biography

Mig Macario was born in the Philippines, grew up in Canada and now divides his time between Los Angeles and Vancouver. With over 30 years' experience in the entertainment industry as an actor, acting coach, casting associate, and filmmaker, Mig is known for his ability to play a diverse range of characters. Mr. Macario has appeared in over 50 Film and Television projects and has worked with Jake Gyllenhaal, Toni Collette, Rene Russo, Zawe Ashton, John Malkovich, Taylor Cole, Shemar Moore, Johnny Depp, Robin Williams, Jenny McCarthy and Ginnifer Goodwin. Most recent credits include guest starring roles on the Dan Gilroy Film for Netflix: Velvet Buzzsaw, S.W.A.T., Criminal Minds and a recurring role playing the iconic character of Bashful on the hit ABC series Once Upon A Time. Mig is also a long practicing Buddhist with the SGI (Soka Gakkai International). Based on core Buddhist principles such as respecting the dignity of human life and the interconnectedness of self and the environment, SGI engages in various peace activities, including human rights education, the movement to abolish nuclear weapons and efforts to promote sustainable development.
